Cam Pillows made in Burundi: The CAMPILLOW is a recreational pillow for your camera, to avoid scratches on table and cam and to give your cam a comforable rest while charging the battery or transfering images to your computer. No matter if your coffe cup or a glass of water drops on your desk, because your cam is on its CAMPILLOW. It has a core of foam material and a slip from fancy african fabrics which makes it a real eye-catcher on your desk. A cooperation between Cosyspeed GmbH and our Mother-Child-House Centre Nyubahiriza. Buy Cam Pillows here.

Project week: Ten architecture students in Burundi

Ten architecture students from the Fachhochschule Düsseldorf took a trip to Burundi during the "2006 Extramuros Project Week". The object of the trip was to build a workshop to provide technical training to young Burundians in co-operation with Burundian tradesmen, school students and apprentices. The pavilion was built on the same site as our yet-to-be-completed school centre. Apart from the first training sessions being run there, some bits and pieces for the school are now being made!

A project of the PBSA (Peter Behrens School of Architecture / Fachhochschule Düsseldorf) in co-operation with burundikids e.V., under the direction of Prof. Tanja Kullack and Martina Wziontek.
